Corporate institutions to support HR Focus magazine

Mr Dan Acheampong, President of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners Ghana (IHRMP), has called on HR practitioners, corporate bodies and the public to rally behind the Institute and its HR Focus magazine.

A statement issued by Mrs Josephine Ayensu Djan, Public Relations and Events Manager of IHRMP and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the magazine would ensure a successful first Ghana HR Conference and Excellence Awards, scheduled to take place on October 4 and October 5.

The first Ghana HR Conference and Excellence Awards is on the theme: “Achieving Excellence through Human Resource Optimisation.”

Mr Acheampong asked HR practitioners, corporate entities and the public to take advantage of the awards by filing nomination forms at the event’s website, www.hrconferencegh.com.

He explained that the conference, comprise an HR Exhibition and a Forum.

Mr Kofy Hagan, Editor of the HR Focus Magazine, indicated that the HR Exhibition would offer a platform for HR departments of the various corporate entities and HR organisations to showcase some of the processes involved in their human capital management to achieve set organisational goals.

He noted that the platform would bring together students from tertiary institutions, job-seekers, employees and other individuals, who are interested in the HR processes of organisations.

“Alongside the exhibition, the HR Forum, seeks to bring HR practitioners and other players in the industry together, to share, learn and deliberate on HR management and its current trends," he said.
